          n Suitable arrangements are
required for the safe and secure
           storage of hazardous substances
           and flammable materials. These
           should be made especially secure
from the risks of arson or other
           criminal damage from intruders.
          Policies & Procedures
Staff need to know what security
          policies, procedures and protocols are
in place and how security incidents or
breaches must be reported. It should
be made clear that it is company policy
          to prosecute whenever possible in
cases of theft or criminal damage.
Loose, scrap metal should not be
left unsecured: the theft of metal has
become a significant area of criminal
activity in the UK in recent years and
should be reported to the police.
